Triclon's N64 cheat device and game save hardware services

Got a Gameshark that is bricked you want to save? Want your childhood games saves backed up or restored? You've come to the right place!

Services Offered:

• Cheat device unbrick
  Try to unbrick your Gameshark/Action Replay using games which boot with different Key Codes. Sometimes you can put these devices into a state they won't boot in unless you use the correct game. If you don't own the right game, it will seem like your cheat device is bricked.


• Cheat device reflash/backup/restore/upgrade
  I will try to reflash the memory on a Gameshark/Action Replay. This fixes most bricked devices if the above solution fails to work. This can fix most bricked cheat devices but sometimes there are hardware problems, so if I am unable to reflash your device you just pay the cost of shipping. I can also backup the flash memory to PC and send you a copy, or reflash the memory from a stored backup that you might have. Cheat devices can be upgraded. For example a Gameshark v3.0 can be upgraded to v3.3. You can select any software version you what you want to reflash your cheat device.


• Game cart save backup/restore
  I can backup or restore your game cart saves to/from PC or flash cartridge. Keep your childhood game saves safe! Convert saves between cart, emualtor, or flash cartridge.


• Controller pak (memory card) save backup/restore
  I can backup or restore your controller pak saves to/from PC. Convert saves between controller pak and emulator.


• ROM dumping and repo cart flashing
  I can dump the rom of any N64 cart to PC and (re)flash repo carts. Note that you will have to provide your own legally obtained roms if you want to flash repo carts.

Cost:

Simple. $10 for the first device (Gameshark, game cart, etc.) plus $5 for each additional device plus return shipping. If I am unable to perform the service for whatever reason, you only pay the shipping.

• What devices do you use?
  For cheat device reflashing, cart save backups/restores, and repo (re)flashing, I use the RetroBlaster Programmer by RetroStage. For controller pak backup/restoration, I use the Everdrive 3.0 by KRIKZZ.


• What forms of payment do you take?
  Currently PayPal. Other payment options might be added in the future.
• I have an entire N64 game library I want to backup. Do you give bulk discounts?
  Yes! While the current price is quite low, if you have a large number of devices or games, contact me for a quote.


• Can I send you a self addressed stamped envelope/box for return shipping?
  Yes! You can do this instead of having me charge you for return shipping.


• What country do you ship to/from and do you accept international orders?
  I reside in the USA and currently will only ship domestic. International orders will require their own self addressed stamped envelope or box. Contact me for details.


• What game systems do you services for?
  Currently I only offer services for the Nintendo 64. This might be expanded to other systems in the future.
